Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you buy a RiskBits Check.

Effective 25 October 2026

1. Who we are

RiskBits Check (the “Service”) is operated by Ionuț-Robert Sandu, Persoană Fizică Autorizată (PFA), CUI 51596898, B-dul Bucureștii Noi 136, parter, ap. 5, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania (“we”, “us”), the merchant of record for all payments. Contact: hello@riskbits.net.

2. The Service

The Service is a one-time security assessment of the targets you authorize: external reconnaissance, a vulnerability scan and analysis, reviewed by a security engineer and delivered as a written report. The App Pen Test tier additionally includes controlled exploitation of confirmed findings, optional authenticated testing, a remediation call and one retest. Testing is governed by the Rules of Engagement, which form part of these Terms.

3. Authorization and acceptable use

You may order a Check only for targets you own or are authorized in writing to have tested, and you must provide that authorization before testing begins. You are responsible for the accuracy of the scope and for any provider permissions the targets require. Using the Service against systems you are not authorized to test is prohibited and may be unlawful; we will suspend and report misuse.

4. Price and payment

Prices are one-time and shown at checkout: Health Check €390 / $420 and App Pen Test €1490 / $1590. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay; no VAT is added (we are not VAT-registered) and EU businesses may add a VAT ID. Payment is processed by Stripe.

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver the report within the turnaround shown for your tier (5 business days for Health Check, 10 business days for App Pen Test), starting when you authorize the scope. Delays are usually caused by scope questions; we'll keep you informed.

6. The report

The report and its findings are provided for your use. We keep a copy and the authorization record; we do not share your results with anyone else. You may share the report with your staff, advisors, insurers and clients.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided with professional care but without a guarantee that it finds every vulnerability. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the assessment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from inaccurate scope or from acting on (or failing to act on) the report. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your consumer rights.

8. Cancellation and refunds

See the Refund policy. In short: full refund if you cancel before testing starts; see the policy for what applies once work has begun.

9. Law

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Courts in Bucharest have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
